Mandate:

The NEOS Library Consortium creates and maintains a shared on-line integrated library system and a shared patron database. The NEOS Library Consortium also provides its collective primary clients access to on-site services such as reciprocal borrowing and reference services, and off-site services such as patron-initiated circulation requesting and interlibrary loan supported by a document delivery distribution service. In addition, NEOS libraries collaborate on the purchase of electronic databases and provide shared continuing education opportunities to staff within the Consortium.
