| Mandate |
The Canadian Initiative on Digital Libraries [CIDL]
is an alliance of Canadian libraries who recognize the
growing importance of digital information, and who wish
to collaborate to ensure better use of digital information
and better service to their users.
CIDL promotes, coordinates, and facilitates the development
of Canadian digital collections and services in order
to optimize national interoperability and long-term
access to Canadian digital library resources.
